1. Who can order
You must be 18 or over to place an order. Children are very welcome to draw the pictures — but a grown-up needs to do the ordering and paying.
2. Your drawing, your rights
The artwork stays yours. By uploading it you give us permission to process it, generate a 3D model from it, and print it — purely so we can fulfil your order.
You confirm the drawing is your own (or your child's) original work and doesn't copy someone else's characters or artwork. We may decline anything that looks copyrighted, offensive, or unsafe to print, and we'll refund you in full if we do.
We won't use your child's drawing publicly — not on our gallery, not on social media — unless you specifically say we can.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment is taken securely by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- We can correct pricing mistakes before your order is accepted — if a price was obviously wrong, we'll contact you rather than just charging you.
- Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed and it appears in your account or on the Track page.
4. Making and sending your print
- Custom prints usually take 5–10 days to make and post.
- We post within the UK via Royal Mail; tracking appears in your account once posted.
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — the postal service is out of our hands.
- Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered.
5. What the finished print will look like
We show you a 3D preview before you order — that preview is the best guide to what you'll get. Because the AI interprets a flat drawing into three dimensions, the print is a faithful interpretation rather than an exact copy. Colours can vary slightly between screen and filament, and visible layer lines are normal in 3D printing.
If the AI can't handle a particularly detailed drawing, we'll offer to model it by hand and send you a preview to approve before anything is charged or printed.
6. Accounts
You can check out as a guest or create an account. If you make one, keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Covered fully on our Returns & Refunds page, including the important difference between ready-made shop items and personalised custom prints.
8. Our responsibility to you
We'll always honour your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Beyond that, our liability is limited to the value of your order. We aren't liable for indirect losses — for example a print not arriving in time for a birthday because of a postal delay. Nothing here limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
9. Safety
Our prints are decorative items made from PLA plastic. They are not suitable for children under 3 — small parts present a choking hazard. Keep them away from heat, as PLA softens at high temperatures.
10. Changes and disputes
We may update these terms; the version shown when you order is the one that applies to your order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
Got a problem? Email jds3dprints2017@gmail.com first — we'd much rather fix it directly and quickly.
